Meet the Team Behind Your Remodel

Integrity Design + Build has been remodeling homes across the Pantops corridor and the broader central Virginia footprint since 2006. The team runs as a fully integrated design-build firm, which means architecture, interior design, permits, and construction all happen under one roof rather than across separate vendors.

Designer John leads the design phase and creates the 3D renderings that let you see your finished space before any demo starts. Project managers Rob and Ray run the construction phase with daily updates through a personalized online portal. Office manager Robin handles selections and ongoing client communication throughout the build.

The NARI Certified Remodeler credential reflects a higher standard for design-build firms nationally. Class A Virginia licensing covers the full breadth of work involved in major remodeling projects, from structural changes through finished interiors.

What We Build For Pantops Families

The Pantops area sits along the Route 250 corridor east of downtown Charlottesville, with homes spanning from 1980s and 1990s construction through newer 2000s and 2010s builds. That housing mix means most Pantops remodeling projects involve bringing dated layouts and finishes up to current standards, with kitchens, bathrooms, and basements topping the request list across the local market.

Whatever the project scope, the work runs through the same four-phase process and carries the same 15-year structural warranty.

Kitchen Remodeling

A new kitchen runs anywhere from $30,000 for a cosmetic update through $120,000+ for a full custom layout redesign. We build solid wood cabinetry with dovetail drawers, source premium quartz and stone counters, and design layouts around how your family actually cooks rather than around generic floor plans.

Bathroom Remodeling

Bathroom projects range from $5,000 for a cosmetic refresh through $145,000 for a high-end master bath build. Most standard master baths average $70,000 to $80,000. Project developer Howie and designer Jeff translate your ideas into 3D renderings and construction drawings before any work begins, so the finished space matches what you signed off on.

Basement Remodeling

A finished basement adds a whole floor of conditioned living space to your home for roughly half the cost of above-grade construction. Projects typically run $80,000 to $150,000 depending on scope. Standard finishes with existing rough-in plumbing land in the $80,000 to $95,000 range, while builds with kitchenettes, wet bars, or home gyms reach the upper end.

Home Additions

Most home additions run $189,000 to $200,000, with larger or more complex projects reaching $300,000 and beyond. Mother-in-law suites, second-story bedroom additions, sunrooms, screen porches, and full kitchen-and-bath expansions all fall within our regular scope. Every addition gets matched to the existing home’s rooflines, brickwork, and trim details so the new space reads as part of the original construction.

Whole Home Remodeling

A full home remodel typically averages around $465,000, with major reconfigurations running $540,000 to $600,000 or more. Layout changes, structural work, full plumbing and electrical overhauls, second-story additions, and complete finish replacement all fall within scope. Most clients use short-term rentals during active construction phases.

What Pantops Clients Say

b

Rated 5 out of 5

We have used Integrity for two large remodeling projects and are about to have them work on a third. The first was reflooring the entire first floor and complete kitchen remodel, with a couple of tricky elements.

The job was done in the original time estimate, with Rob a superb site manager. The second was master bath and closet renovation.

We have friends that used another firm and had serious issues with a lipless shower entry renovation, but Integrity took all the right steps with excellent tile work.

John made specialty drawers for the walk-in closet. We couldn’t be happier with the entire process from upfront discussions, contract, management, subcontractor use, and follow-up on punch list.

We have recommended them to friends and will continue to do so.

Pretty much a full first floor remodel with complete kitchen redo.

Integrity really spent a lot of planning time on working through some complex challenges to what we wanted and their creativity and engineering really came through.

Our expanded kitchen is unique, functional and perfect! Came in on budget with extras!
