Bathroom Remodeling Contractor in Keswick, VA

Good bathrooms get built behind the walls, not just on top of them. Integrity Design + Build has remodeled 150+ bathrooms across central Virginia, every one backed by a 15-year structural warranty.

Why Keswick Homeowners Pick Integrity Design + Build

Ask anyone who’s had a bathroom go wrong and they’ll tell you the same thing: it almost always traces back to water finding its way somewhere it shouldn’t. A shower pan that wasn’t sloped right. A wall that was tiled straight over drywall instead of a proper waterproof backer.

Grout doing a job that membrane was supposed to do. The fixtures and tile are what you see, but the waterproofing is what decides whether the room lasts twenty years or starts leaking in two.

That’s the part Integrity gets obsessive about. Twenty years and 150-plus bathrooms in, the firm builds every wet area to hold water where it belongs, then layers the finishes on top of a foundation that won’t fail.

The whole project runs through one team, design through construction, so the person planning the waterproofing is connected to the person installing it.

Beyond the build quality, Keswick homeowners tend to stick with Integrity because the experience is straightforward.

You see the design in 3D before demo. You get the cost in writing before work starts. And the 15-year structural warranty means the firm has skin in the game long after the last tile is set.

Integrity does quality work. You pay for what you get- prices are higher than other companies, but work is done right the first time with no surprises and they guarantee their work

We made the mistake of passing them up the first time we did repair work on our bathroom and were right back in the same place 2 years later. Didn’t make the same mistake twice!

Working during this Covid crises has placed added burdens on everyone but despite that we were very happy with the response of the workers involved and in particular, Chance Dickerson our job foreman. What a gem he is.

He made sure our home and it’s carpets/floors and walls very well protected, he and assured all would be ready for the next work day. The job naturally took a bit longer due to Covid caused delivery issues but, even at that, it was completed in a timely manner.

We are thrilled with the installation of our new steam and bath system and remodel and highly recommend all the people who had a hand in making our bathroom a reality.

Cost of Bathroom Remodeling in Keswick

A bathroom remodel in Keswick can run anywhere from a light refresh to a fully custom suite, and the price follows the scope. These three finished Integrity projects show what the spread looks like in practice:
Project Size Scope Highlights Cost
Statement Bathroom (Charlottesville) Full remodel Matte glass shower wall with black metal grid, Delta Trinsic Champagne Bronze faucet, basket-weave mosaic floor, subway walls, Kohler medicine cabinet, high-tank pull-chain toilet ($2.5K), Nordic Grey stone threshold $48,000
Master Bath (Troy) 115 sq ft Victoria & Albert freestanding soaking tub, travertine floor and shower mosaic, Leonardo Red Streak accent wall, dual vanities with integral travertine tops ($6.5K), Moen Align shower assembly $74,000
Master Bath with Closet (Charlottesville) 117 sq ft Kohler rain-head shower, Steel Grey granite vanity tops, Lungarno Disk grey floor tile, polished marble shower walls, J&K vanity cabinets, frameless glass shower on pony walls, custom closet ($17K) $91,000
A rough map of where Keswick bathroom projects tend to fall:

Rather than list every line item, here’s the short version of what actually moves the needle. The shower or tub is almost always the headliner, with a freestanding soaker or a custom walk-in commanding the biggest single chunk of the budget. Tile is the next lever, where the gap between porcelain and natural stone shows up fast, especially once you factor in the labor for intricate patterns.

After that, it comes down to how custom the vanity gets and whether any plumbing has to move. Stock vanities and a fixed layout keep things lean; custom stone tops and a relocated shower push the number up.

Bathroom Projects That Stay on Schedule and Within Budget

A bathroom remodel is a substantial decision, and a well-managed project removes most of the stress that comes with it. The team plans carefully on the front end and runs the work on a schedule you can plan your life around, so the project finishes when expected and lands at the number you signed up for.

Budget: Think of a remodeled bathroom as a daily-use upgrade rather than a one-time cost. You’ll start every morning in this space for the next 15 to 20 years, and the room contributes meaningfully to home value when it’s time to sell. Spread across that timeline, the investment becomes one of the smartest home decisions you make.

Timeline: The team respects your space and your routine. Crews arrive when they say they will, keep the work area clean, and finish on the schedule mapped out during the consultation. A cosmetic refresh wraps in 1 to 2 weeks of construction, while a full custom master bath averages 10 to 12 weeks.

What Keswick Homeowners Want to Know

Because it’s the one thing that, done wrong, ruins everything else. A beautiful bathroom over bad waterproofing is a leak waiting to happen. We build the wet areas to hold water properly, which is what lets the finishes last.
Most clients stay put. The crew keeps the mess contained to the bathroom and tidies up daily. If it’s your only bathroom, we plan the schedule around keeping you functional.
A refresh is a week or two. A full custom master bath runs 10 to 12 weeks. You’ll get a real schedule at the consultation rather than a guess.
Yes. Moving the vanity, converting a tub to a walk-in shower, relocating the toilet, all of it is on the table. Layout changes mean rerouting plumbing, which we handle in-house.
Almost always. The exceptions are added scope or a hidden problem behind a wall, and we talk both through with you before doing anything.
We do, along with scheduling inspections and coordinating the trades. The paperwork stays on our side.
Fifteen years on the structural work, three on the finishes. And if something slips through after that, we still come back and fix it.

Keswick sits just east of Charlottesville in Albemarle County, an area known for its rolling horse-country landscape, established estates, and a mix of historic and newer homes spread across larger lots. Bathrooms in the area run the gamut from decades-old originals in older houses to dated builder fixtures in homes that haven’t been touched since construction, which keeps full remodels in steady demand. The County of Albemarle handles permitting locally, and the Commonwealth of Virginia sets the building code our work meets. Our office is a short drive west on Berkmar Circle in Charlottesville.
